PMT Vision Goals and Objectives
The MBTA, working with the PMT Stakeholder Advisory Committee, identified the Vision, Goals, and Objectives for the PMT. The vision defines ideal characteristics for the transit system that the MBTA would like to achieve over the 25-year horizon of the PMT. Two types of goals have been defined: (1) those that deal with the planning process, and (2) those that state the outcomes that are necessary to fulfill the vision. The objectives identify actions that must be taken to achieve the goals.
