Working Committee

The PMT Working Committee is responsible for guiding and advising the MBTA throughout the life of the project. Its members represent a wide variety of interests and include state agencies, municipalities, and community-based organizations. The committee’s first meeting took place in August; discussion topics included the MBTA's draft proposal for its 25-year vision and the PMT public participation plan. At meetings this fall, the committee will be digesting background information on environmental justice, travel demand modeling, financing, and other focus issues. It will also be refining the initial draft of PMT goals and objectives, reviewing the project schedule, and helping develop the listing of proposed project ideas and draft criteria for evaluating them. The Working Committee meets monthly in the Boston MPO conference room at 10 Park Plaza (Suite 2150, Central Transportation Planning Staff), Boston.
