Public Involvement
Your ideas and views are valuable to the MPO as it develops plans and allocates funds for improving the region´s transportation system. To facilitate the exchange of ideas and information, the MPO is working to make public participation convenient and engaging. The MPO has a vision and a policy that describe the MPO´s goals for involving the public and has developed a public-participation program, which details the roles of the MPO and the public and spells out the public-participation activities to be undertaken. The MPO uses this program as it conducts the metropolitan transportation planning 3C process for the Boston region, including the development of its certification documents and its other reports and studies. |
